Ehvert provides a full range of Data Centre Design and Implementation Services focused on the physical network within a facility.

In order to properly design a computing facility at a new location, Ehvert first performs a detailed inventory of the existing and future applications, computing hardware and network environment that needs to be supported by the data centre.

Based on the information requirements gathered, Ehvert prepares a detailed data centre design that includes detailed CAD drawings and specifications of the layout of all data centre hardware, racks and cabinets, redundant power and cooling requirements for the data centre, and a detailed connectivity diagram showing the detailed connectivity of each device within the data centre.

It is important that the location and size of the new data centre be taken into consideration at the outset of the project. As part of a detailed design of the data centre, Ehvert will review the site conditions and recommend a physical location and size for the data centre.

We will coordinate the design of the data centre with all other construction disciplines working in the facility. This includes the coordination with existing and new conduit systems and/or cable tray layout and coordination of cooling and electrical requirements for the Computer Room and wiring closets.

We prepare a detailed set of specifications and tender documents for the data centre. We then review the bids received and make recommendations for a successful contractor.

Ehvert will prepare a master technology schedule, that includes key equipment and construction milestones that affect the technology infrastructure, and can project manage the complete installation.
